“THE CONSUMER – THE ONLY PERSON WHO REALLY MATTERS”
The PATA theme for 1977 – “The consumer – the only person that matters” – wears well. For if the main object of PATA is to sell tourism, then the consumer is the prime objective and his demands must be met. On an international level, PATA helps in smoothening out distinctions and in promoting areas and regions hitherto unexplored. It gives all members equality of status and in this it has succeeded in promoting international goodwill and cooperation.” (1)
