Para ilustrar os locais de interesse turístico de Macau no folheto turístico de 1928 (1) o autor apresenta as fotografias do Jardim de Lou Lim Yok (2) e do Palácio do Governo (3) numa montagem sugestiva (4) a que intitulou “ In and Around Macao”, com a seguinte nota:

LOO LIM YOK´S GARDENSThese Gardens are one of the show places of Macao, and are truly artistically and attractively laid out in the Chinese style. Permission  to visit these gardens can be secured from the owner and such a visit will not be regretted as the arrangements and methods adopted by the designer have secured a most harmonious blending ”.
GOVERNMENT HOUSE – The present oficial residence of the Governor of Macao, is a handsome building with two projecting wings, and occupies a commanding position on trhe Praia Grande . This mansion was built by the late Baron de Cercal as his family residence. On his demise it was purchased from his estate by Government.
